Solid Comfort and Audio — Just Fix That Switch!

Super comfortable and surprisingly clear for a non-ANR passenger headset. The top cushion is soft and supportive, and the clamp pressure is just right — snug but never too tight. One thing I really appreciate is the silicone ear seals. Unlike foam, they stay cool and don’t trap sweat — even after two hours in the air, my ears stayed dry. The on-ear volume dials are a nice touch too. Headband adjustment is quick and smooth, and the mic quality is excellent — as long as it’s positioned right at your lips. The boom arm stays exactly where you put it, no drifting. Only downside? The mono/stereo switch feels a bit flimsy. Come on, BH — that part needs a little more love. Overall, very satisfied for the price.

Surprisingly Clear Audio and Great Comfort Over Time

I've taken this headset up on a handful of training flights so far. Even without ANR, it does a solid job cutting down engine noise, and both radio and intercom audio come through clearly. The comfort has noticeably improved over time. All in all, definitely worth the price.

Excellent Value for the Price

For under $300, I don't think anything else even comes close.looked at a lot of headsets in this price range, and nothing matched the Alpha Lite in terms of build, comfort, and clarity. It doesn't have fancy features like ANR or Bluetooth, but for a student like me who needs the basics done well—it's a perfect fit. I'd recommend it to anyone starting flight school on a budget.

ATC and my instructor hear me clearly, even during climb-out.

The mic quality is way better than what I expected. During full-power takeoffs or when there's crosswind noise, I never have to repeat myself. My instructor mentioned my voice comes through crystal clear on the intercom and radio. That really boosts my confidence as a new pilot communicating in busy airspace.
